• The industrial history of our family dates back to the end of the 1800s. At that time, Josef
Still, the grand-grandfather, worked as a lathe in Bavaria and then in Hungary
• During 1935-1980 the grandfathers Ferenc Kormos mechanic technician and Ferenc Németh
carpenter master set up their own workshops. Grandfather Kormos was engaged in driving
school, cars, then manufacturing and repairing refrigerators. Grandfather Nemeth was
working as a carpenter.
• In 1980 Mihály Kormos opens his own workshop as a car mechanic master. He was involved
in car repair, car sales and later metalworking.
• In 2005 Milán Kormos, mechanical engineer, established his sole proprietorship which was
then engaged in driver training and gradually switched to metal processing, which is
currently the main activity of ’Kormos és Fiai’.
